Who we are

GMZ Home Repairs, LLC (“GMZ,” “we,” “us”) is a licensed general contracting company in Cincinnati, Ohio, owned and run by George Zakhir. This policy covers gmzhr.com and the information you give us when you contact us about a project.

What we collect

When you request an estimate

The estimate form asks for your first and last name, phone number, email address, project address or ZIP code, the service you need, your timeline and any project details you choose to share. When you submit it, the website also records your IP address and basic browser information so we can spot and block spam.

When you call, text or email us

We receive your phone number or email address and whatever you tell us about your project.

When you browse the site

Like most websites, gmzhr.com keeps basic visitor statistics so we can see which pages are useful: pages viewed, how you found us (for example, a search engine), your device and browser type, and your approximate location based on your IP address. We use two analytics tools, WP Statistics and Burst Statistics, that run on our own website. WP Statistics anonymizes and scrambles IP addresses so the full address is never stored. Neither tool shares visitor data with outside companies, and we don’t use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or social media trackers.

How we use your information

• To respond to your request and prepare an estimate
• To schedule visits and keep in touch with you during your project
• To keep records of estimates, contracts, invoices and warranty work
• To understand how the website is used and improve it
• To protect the website from spam and abuse

We don’t sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t give it to anyone for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We share information only when it’s needed to do your job or run the business:

• Trade partners and suppliers. If your project involves a licensed trade partner (such as a plumber or electrician) or a supplier delivering materials, we give them what they need to do their part, like your name, address and phone number.
• Service providers. Our website host and email provider store and deliver the information you send us through the site.
• Permits and legal requirements. Building permits and inspections can require your name and property address. We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file your browser stores. gmzhr.com uses one analytics cookie, set by Burst Statistics, that holds a random ID so we can tell new visitors from returning ones. It doesn’t contain your name or contact details and isn’t used for advertising. WordPress also sets cookies for people who log in to manage the site; regular visitors don’t get those.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works fine without them.

How long we keep it

We keep estimate requests and project records as long as we need them to do the work, stand behind our warranty, and meet tax and legal record-keeping requirements. If you ask us to delete your information and we don’t need to keep it for one of those reasons, we will.

Your choices

You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email george@gmzhr.com or call (513) 288-6364 and we’ll take care of it promptly.

Keeping it safe

The whole site runs over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and form submissions are only available to GMZ. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive details like bank or card numbers through the form.

Children

This site is for homeowners and property owners. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
